About

Step into the tunes, songs, stories and dance of the Causeway Coast and Glens in the lively company of two skilled local musicians. They will take you on a musical journey from the seafront, with its tales of the sea and songs of sailors, up into the heart of Ballycastle, a crossroads of traditional music. You’ll visit the pubs where the music has been kept alive through generations and at each stop will be treated to live music in your own personal ‘session’.

The Ballycastle Traditional Music Trail brings you closer to the instruments, the people who play them and the language, customs and history that make up our vibrant musical culture and traditions.

Check out the Ballycastle Traditional Music Trail website for dates and direct bookings. Alternatively, bookings can be made via Causeway Coast and Glens Visitor Centre (Ballycastle)
